If that \t\t\t\tworks generate a RSA (1 or 2) keypair with puttygen. save these keys \t\t\t\tsomewhere. Now switch back to you connection with the ssh server.<br \/>\nCreate a new directory &#8220;.ssh&#8221; in your home directory (if not already \t\t\t\tthere). edit the file .ssh\/authorized_keys and put your generated public \t\t\t\tkey here. See man sshd for format descriptions.<br \/>\nNow that the server will accept a connection established with your key, \t\t\t\tand will log you in passwordless, you have to start the pageant program \t\t\t\tthat comes with putty. It manages your keys.
